Degree Programs
The CIA offers bachelor's and associate degree programs in culinary arts and baking & pastry arts. All four programs include 1,300+ hours of hands-on skill development and an invaluable 18-week externship at one of more than 1,100 top foodservice properties.

CIA students benefit from an extraordinary culinary learning environment, featuring 41 kitchens and bakeshops; five student-staffed, award-winning public restaurants; two culinary demonstration theaters; a 72,000-volume library; a wireless network; and much more.
Faculty
Comprised of more than 125 chefs and instructors from 16 countries, the CIA education team has unbeatable industry experience and credentials, including the most Certified Master Chefs anywhere in culinary education.
Financial Aid
91 percent of CIA students receive financial aid in the form of scholarships, grants, loans, and federal work-study.

Students
The college's 2,700 students hail from all 50 U.S. states and 30 countries. The average student age is 23, with an equal balance between recent high school graduates and adult students. The Culinary is home to people from many different backgrounds, but everyone shares a common language and passion–food.
