The BPS Degree Program—Superior Education
At The Culinary Institute of America, our mission is to provide the world's best professional culinary education. Our core values of excellence, leadership, professionalism, ethics, and respect for diversity guide the content and delivery of our degree programs.
The CIA offers bachelor's degree programs in either culinary arts management or baking and pastry arts management, and our specialized curriculum is unique among culinary colleges.
Both programs feature a "distributive learning" model that distributes foundation courses, practical hands-on courses, and more conceptual courses throughout the program in the most effective way. It's an ideal mix of comprehensive core courses and exciting electives to maximize your overall CIA learning experience.
Our objectives for the program are ambitious—to build essential knowledge and skills, foster the ability to think creatively, and prepare our students for future leadership in the foodservice and hospitality industry.
The enduring value of a CIA education is extraordinary, so start building your education plan today!
