Q: What do you like most about teaching Human Resource Management?

Gerard Fischetti:
This course sets the stage for a major paradigm shift for our students. Students discover the importance and complexity of dealing with the human element in the workplace.

Q: What key learning would you like your students to take away from your class?

CG:
In this class, students create a Human Resource Operations Plan. This is a comprehensive plan outlining the organizational culture, policies, hiring strategies, and procedures relating to employees. Through this project, I would like students to understand the relationship amongst employee satisfaction, employee performance, and the organization's culture and leadership. It is an eye-opening learning experience for most students.
